I started with card making, then sewing, upcycling furniture and lately jewellery making the list is endless, this crafting business is an expensive addiction, lol.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02691512074529002113noreply@blogger.comBlogger65125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4045866997431342258.post-50691583455761700522017-11-03T16:15:00.001+00:002017-11-03T16:15:04.289+00:00Challenge treeHi, I'm hoping you're not going to laugh too hard at todays card, it was definitely a challenge, lol. There is a Christmas tree comp. running on the challenge group I'm in on fb, the tree has to be drawn or painted and you can't use stamps or dies, so, back to basics.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitbVXmkVaOZA643gD5QADQA3BdxECYeXw986xSp87W70vxGd_CDGHfBqKPFQWbYhpFKtAdWCArVm9OdTjKbpaz_zvU-XZrg11kvdA_mfkgJHbSf8oyA8KpLiVd73UdLuEF3hHKBZsbItY/s1600/DSCN0574.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitbVXmkVaOZA643gD5QADQA3BdxECYeXw986xSp87W70vxGd_CDGHfBqKPFQWbYhpFKtAdWCArVm9OdTjKbpaz_zvU-XZrg11kvdA_mfkgJHbSf8oyA8KpLiVd73UdLuEF3hHKBZsbItY/s320/DSCN0574.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I wanted to at least try and get my tree symmetrical, so above is a pic of one of many fails at my weird little tree.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw7667rToEu9qV_iJau5fnA0gv32tnJraWPoww_4-9N7NMHA0MnfU2nmr5vKxRt-xU7c3Zhe_SfknYSqWHkPvgdEX4lNlmeLhZcGSuUG_rAYLM8mCzAQOOl94BvnT7CEgI0TN0YIg8S1o/s1600/DSCN0575.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1020" data-original-width="987" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw7667rToEu9qV_iJau5fnA0gv32tnJraWPoww_4-9N7NMHA0MnfU2nmr5vKxRt-xU7c3Zhe_SfknYSqWHkPvgdEX4lNlmeLhZcGSuUG_rAYLM8mCzAQOOl94BvnT7CEgI0TN0YIg8S1o/s320/DSCN0575.JPG" width="309" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I ended up with this, I added some different size gems and some tinsel, then covered in glitter. For my background I swirled some blue, pink and white pearlescent paint and while it was wet randomly added some chunky glitter flakes and glitter.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Thanks for looking and any comments you may leave, if nothing else, hope I've given you a laugh today.</div>

I'm struggling to keep up with everything at the moment, I was diagnosed with lung disease but I'm determined not to give up work, so keep your fingers crossed for me everyone.<br />
<br />
This is a card I made for a facebook challenge, its a Christmas village.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-wnilMz3Sa_T5uJkyTrQyZENXscB46g-Wv9Hxn29H6ngxTfwtC_l7mx6V1Zm0uiywwNIDwyGOHhHPb2m6g-sMzSgJ5Ysjqw5r7Pby7NgVfj6cd1jDznzw8Ia1cvbxx0rMUpbNTtRx_VU/s1600/DSCN0572.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1020" data-original-width="1036" height="315" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-wnilMz3Sa_T5uJkyTrQyZENXscB46g-Wv9Hxn29H6ngxTfwtC_l7mx6V1Zm0uiywwNIDwyGOHhHPb2m6g-sMzSgJ5Ysjqw5r7Pby7NgVfj6cd1jDznzw8Ia1cvbxx0rMUpbNTtRx_VU/s320/DSCN0572.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
It's much larger than I intended it to be, so I couldn't use the stamped image I originally wanted to use. I searched and found the free image on Pinterest. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The snowglobe was cut with my Silhouette Cameo, I added lots of glitter and acetate to the centre, the snowflake dies were cut in pale blue and white from dies from Aliexpress and I added lots of glitter. Really simple card, but took me forever, lol.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>

Thanks so much for looking and any comments you may leave.</div>

This is a card I made a few weeks ago for my Daughters birthday in November, however, I'm not sure whether or not to make her another one, as I feel this looks a bit 'wedding like', thought I'd share it and get some of your opinions.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSxUsfLzQNgawF8WmFAVsPOi0lBsWuJNktcWQ1ittlkkcRI2c4qEV1i4s9U1pXfDAUI8N_UFNFLc-mfPVjnAd2TfxKKpzw_MnPwk2O6fDPKJhx901bO7AmmcpLD_u99M65CHk6Th79OSo/s1600/DSCN0568.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="904" data-original-width="1015" height="285" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSxUsfLzQNgawF8WmFAVsPOi0lBsWuJNktcWQ1ittlkkcRI2c4qEV1i4s9U1pXfDAUI8N_UFNFLc-mfPVjnAd2TfxKKpzw_MnPwk2O6fDPKJhx901bO7AmmcpLD_u99M65CHk6Th79OSo/s320/DSCN0568.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I didn't have a true baby pink card, so I used a pink alcohol marker to colour everything, I just coloured about an inch of the first layer, my second layer was plain white card which I sprayed with Crafters Companion stick and stay, then covered in glitter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To make my heart frame I used this <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1pcs-DIY-Scrapbooking-Paper-Craft-Embossing-Dies-Cute-Heart-Flower-Metal-Cutting-Dies-for-Scrapbooking-Folder/32815823820.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.zb6YA3" target="_blank">heart border die</a> from Aliexpress.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9E_8vCXrMhTYAQLuJcpZ5cSvlwnbLuNju0mcfOqySZgSpeLVGvjR19D-p_ESMCx2lZ9PggE0HEB0pilthVQSHlAMgfyMmutgg8Qhj-waav1VOkWhzoyF8Fcjaopf-k8c9ohe1dYRRpE4/s1600/DSCN0561.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9E_8vCXrMhTYAQLuJcpZ5cSvlwnbLuNju0mcfOqySZgSpeLVGvjR19D-p_ESMCx2lZ9PggE0HEB0pilthVQSHlAMgfyMmutgg8Qhj-waav1VOkWhzoyF8Fcjaopf-k8c9ohe1dYRRpE4/s320/DSCN0561.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
I cut it to the required size, then glued a thin strip of card along the bottom of each of my die cuts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLbJ0duml59RDu6mMx8jYfL-4IB61Wu3NYV5Nw_1bu-T5ZLoGzHrSYkZngvKsK8P7E_gGlaY-WFPjHd-t4kJuLcYXNJq6R7Qs3kC6mu9towSZMQnOk5sDOeZ8ML1Yj7wOKNkG04w3E8Yc/s1600/DSCN0562.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLbJ0duml59RDu6mMx8jYfL-4IB61Wu3NYV5Nw_1bu-T5ZLoGzHrSYkZngvKsK8P7E_gGlaY-WFPjHd-t4kJuLcYXNJq6R7Qs3kC6mu9towSZMQnOk5sDOeZ8ML1Yj7wOKNkG04w3E8Yc/s320/DSCN0562.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then glued at each corner to make a square. I cut an extra piece so that I would have some spare hearts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDHrMj85QTQ77F9iWYlf8g06heoxAAWQmcygS3VbVceLe7TON2Hks9zogyfyxcNLnyGrg7PqAMWyPF9a1jXFII0mD5X5v7FiKvlL-lHFiYAI9AT2VQfN9LvGTqjXE86upDdD1K0J4Ifcw/s1600/DSCN0563.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDHrMj85QTQ77F9iWYlf8g06heoxAAWQmcygS3VbVceLe7TON2Hks9zogyfyxcNLnyGrg7PqAMWyPF9a1jXFII0mD5X5v7FiKvlL-lHFiYAI9AT2VQfN9LvGTqjXE86upDdD1K0J4Ifcw/s320/DSCN0563.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And I have glued a heart in each of the corners, then topped with a pearl to disguise any bits of card. I then used the same pink marker to colour the hearts and also the <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1PC-High-heeled-Shoes-Die-Cuts-Silver-Metal-Cutting-Dies-Scrapbooking-Album-Embossing-Stencil-Paper-Card/32791252377.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.25.mnIdAG&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_3_5460015_10152_10065_10151_10130_10068_10344_5560015_10342_10343_10340_10341_10192_5470015_10190_10307_10301_10137_10303_10060_10155_10154_10056_10055_10054_5370015_10059_10532_100031_10099_10338_10339_5380015_5580015_10103_10102_10052_10053_10107_10050_10142_10051_10324_10325_10326_10084_10083_10080_10082_10081_10110_5590015_10111_10112_10113_10114_10179_143_10312_10313_10314_10184_5570015_10078_10079_10073_5550015,searchweb201603_24,ppcSwitch_5&btsid=36af0944-a3c7-4a91-ad0b-befbb782a486&algo_expid=90abaf8b-eede-4c7b-b163-0aee9be1756a-3&algo_pvid=90abaf8b-eede-4c7b-b163-0aee9be1756a" target="_blank">shoes</a> and Sue Wilson <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Striped Nasturtiums</a> die (the flowers). Then added more pink and white pearls, a <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5yards-lot-25mm-White-Organza-Lace-Ribbon-for-Packing-and-Bow-040014004009/32411670598.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.tjdkoU" target="_blank">ribbon</a> and printed out a sentiment on my laptop, which I then cut with a little tag die.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjguE7KfxdianBiYHFb20Lz6ZcBDleK_4t8SoJ1earDqSt0cHlK8mnma7pFgrfbR8a8wpxBRSHEFjbcK9DRGU6ZPO9bhhgbz9wSi4Ss7yJIfXuJyYh_wGoNcmeDfUTFSlSO8eyFvfDiPL8/s1600/DSCN0569.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="887" data-original-width="1463" height="194" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjguE7KfxdianBiYHFb20Lz6ZcBDleK_4t8SoJ1earDqSt0cHlK8mnma7pFgrfbR8a8wpxBRSHEFjbcK9DRGU6ZPO9bhhgbz9wSi4Ss7yJIfXuJyYh_wGoNcmeDfUTFSlSO8eyFvfDiPL8/s320/DSCN0569.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
Inside, I've just added some paper I found in my stash and used a <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Coolhoo-Big-YOU-short-phrase-with-you-TPR-Silicone-clear-Transparent-Stamp-DIY-Scrapbooking-Card-Making/32827696809.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.vj56vC" target="_blank">sentiment stamp set</a> which I purchased from Aliexpress.</div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcUvScV_QScJOB9zXchnP8cm7F1zDe-ceWXR2UaD9J_YuyXTYjinBZg3KpTxEZlUnaokLPXc0eM1zq6sZFjk1nL9SHK-8L7NHzH_I8r-g2rAswpAk9Tk0i7knMV4q1_yOOljusoK6iXxQ/s1600/DSCN0556.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1252" data-original-width="1020" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcUvScV_QScJOB9zXchnP8cm7F1zDe-ceWXR2UaD9J_YuyXTYjinBZg3KpTxEZlUnaokLPXc0eM1zq6sZFjk1nL9SHK-8L7NHzH_I8r-g2rAswpAk9Tk0i7knMV4q1_yOOljusoK6iXxQ/s320/DSCN0556.JPG" width="260" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started with a a5 card blank and made a bow front acetate card. The lantern was a free digi stamp,( I just googled free Christmas digi stamps) which I coloured with promarkers and added some glitter flakes. The fir trees behind my 'window' are dies from Aliexpress and I've cut them in white card and again added some glitter flakes. The Ivy is also a die from Aliexpress.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
All the other foliage is Sue Wilson dies, Berry Bough & Pine Cone & Greenery.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The white raffia I used for my bow was £2 from Hobbycraft and I've added some little berries from Aliexpress.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5ljMJzGrcpBMavIt2VdWZE1Dgs-YRtFDMOWmHwTEA8OmnRhpzsPYqGWKtdMotRQ33MSpoY7_MNIyrdwtSL8_Hn_5QI3-QOutiskHTyg1rFDboCDowyBSAvmncB7OTb6LAOlOXN-8V5ik/s1600/DSCN0559.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1040" data-original-width="1467" height="226" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5ljMJzGrcpBMavIt2VdWZE1Dgs-YRtFDMOWmHwTEA8OmnRhpzsPYqGWKtdMotRQ33MSpoY7_MNIyrdwtSL8_Hn_5QI3-QOutiskHTyg1rFDboCDowyBSAvmncB7OTb6LAOlOXN-8V5ik/s320/DSCN0559.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The little golden bells were also purchased from Aliexpress (Aliexpress is a bit of an addiction for me at the moment, prices are so good).</div>

I find mens cards so hard to make, so didn't have a clue where to start, so I just googled some horse racing images.<br />

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The card is 8" x 8" and I've used a combination of white & gold card. The largest white layer is embossed using a Darice a4 polka dot embossing folder, for the next white layer I've used Sue Wilson Shadow Box Collection - Stitched Lattice Frames, the lattice is approx. 5" x 3 3/4" but is really easy to extend, which I have done for this. When I had my lattice all cut I used spray adhesive to layer it onto some white card and used a circle die to cut the centre out, creating a frame for my picture.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The betting slips and horse trophy were all free images I found via google and took into my craft artist programme to resize, I also added my uncles name and age to the front of the trophy.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The sentiment was stamped with some free stamps from papercraft inspiration magazine, I then cut it with a stitched banner die and layered it onto the gold card.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And the inside, again using Craft Artist to create my sentiment. Very quick card.</div>

I was doubly happy when I found this stamp because I was so appalled at the state of my craft room, I not only managed to stamp and colour my image, but also give the craft hovel a good clean.<br />
<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To make my card base I have used three edger dies, the Anja border die from Marianne Designs was given to me by a friend, and made the main base card, the <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/22-style-scrapbooking-DIY-lace-frame-vines-leaf-Shape-Metal-steel-cutting-die-flower-Shape-Book/32816590468.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.CRY3Ls" target="_blank">ornate semi circle die</a> and the slimmer die on either side of the image is either a Sue Wilson or Spellbinder die (had it quite a while).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've inked through the Anja border die using antique linen distress ink (for some reason the colour looks really bright in the pic, but in reality is quite pale). I stamped the image with memento ink and coloured with promarkers and also used a white gel pen to add snow to the image.</div>

For the 'Merry & Bright' I used Heirloom Ornament stamp set by Creative Expressions and stamped it with fired brick distress ink, and hand cut into a banner and added a die cut snowflake.</div>

I made the bow out of some white raffia I picked up from Hobbycraft (think it was about £2), the holly was cut with a woodware punch and I've used a script stamp on them again using antique linen distress ink. The little bells were from Aliexpress and berries were in my stash, I've also used Sue Wilson Pine Cone & Greenery die set.</div>

Inside I've die cut the <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1Piece-Metal-Frame-Christmas-Scepter-Cutting-Dies-DIY-Scrapbooking-Photo-Album-Diary-Decorative-Embossing/32763764222.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.4TE85S" target="_blank">lamppost </a>and coloured with promarkers, then used a wooden Penny Black stamp (I've had for years and it comes out every year) for the sentiment and stamped it with fired brick distress ink.</div>

She wanted pink & lace to be included but didn't want it overly girly.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-PuY8kl28uQTUDG8d6RpBbxDprvFtlsB04iHRSbJHixvKkZUq0UJwfrgYfLjP2y3rVvFrnPHtFQ-D4JK4Ea344z-v3uwBQFKOY5Te9jR4VZgptVLXY1_vWpV5bx4t-0lbvPHl3Eoi4GI/s1600/DSCN0506.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1134" data-original-width="1211" height="299" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-PuY8kl28uQTUDG8d6RpBbxDprvFtlsB04iHRSbJHixvKkZUq0UJwfrgYfLjP2y3rVvFrnPHtFQ-D4JK4Ea344z-v3uwBQFKOY5Te9jR4VZgptVLXY1_vWpV5bx4t-0lbvPHl3Eoi4GI/s320/DSCN0506.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've had these dies for ages and for some reason hadn't used them, so I started with a 8" x 8" card blank and cut diagonally across the centre, then turned my cut card so that it gives me the cross over.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've used pale pink centura pearl card stock and embossed it with a Crafters Companion embossing folder, then added some lace from my stash to the edges and topped with flat back pearls.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The flower dies are <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Striped Nasturtiums by Sue Wilson</a> and I've cut them in a mixture of the pink and some white centura pearl card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I printed the message using my laptop, cut it out using a nesting die then layered it onto <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">the Rose Oval die set</a>. The ribbon I've used for my bow is white silky crush by Creative Expressions.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi464bKaCf-lopr6twA9RlTfs_zHdc30j1O0SjQ2i94pujI48Sruk1eb9jaMDI13YgaqQubEWfWz_DAIu_Z_k5yEnbAE4oixL6eFKt8z2RzdaIS43QSJEjmkH5wQwk2UEszxoLM8En3wCE/s1600/DSCN0508.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1135" data-original-width="1551" height="234" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi464bKaCf-lopr6twA9RlTfs_zHdc30j1O0SjQ2i94pujI48Sruk1eb9jaMDI13YgaqQubEWfWz_DAIu_Z_k5yEnbAE4oixL6eFKt8z2RzdaIS43QSJEjmkH5wQwk2UEszxoLM8En3wCE/s320/DSCN0508.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Picture isn't very clear but I,ve used Craft Artist to print a floral edged insert and added the sentiment that my customer requested, I've also added another Rose Oval die cut in pink and popped a butterfly in the centre.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJcJq7LUxMcqCqmWSJsHpr3ztQBC4IPiI1Z6Cwi4vU7fKfwUGYunLeCj9mytJCD6g2MSsXXbd3_eoJ7FdrKo893nejRRcsdKnb9CIBjipfIEUXMpAv-xey3Z7hiZyZxI5LAiOObT6csao/s1600/DSCN0509.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJcJq7LUxMcqCqmWSJsHpr3ztQBC4IPiI1Z6Cwi4vU7fKfwUGYunLeCj9mytJCD6g2MSsXXbd3_eoJ7FdrKo893nejRRcsdKnb9CIBjipfIEUXMpAv-xey3Z7hiZyZxI5LAiOObT6csao/s320/DSCN0509.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For the box, I've again used centura pearl in both pink and white using the same elements as I've used on the card.</div>

I've recently joined a lovely Facebook group <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/1834318580126213/?ref=group_header" target="_blank">https://www.facebook.com/groups/1834318580126213/?ref=group_header</a>, called make one Christmas card every week throughout 2017 challenge. There are lots of competitions, themes, etc, and everyone in the group is so positive.<br />
<br />
So this is a card I made for last weeks theme Santa/Father Christmas.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbE8X5VckvShKi6fBNEH7yT-m0VUmrT_vVFZv-h8AUC_Q7Ckh_3iVJRqpClpiLfOBcS8f4JPQ_Cc2Iv52zbn5bb5e7PP43sWNgC0aLqG3t_oYTCBYaNSjzTY9UlQ8aI3l0sK-gqfKjMbo/s1600/DSCN0541.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbE8X5VckvShKi6fBNEH7yT-m0VUmrT_vVFZv-h8AUC_Q7Ckh_3iVJRqpClpiLfOBcS8f4JPQ_Cc2Iv52zbn5bb5e7PP43sWNgC0aLqG3t_oYTCBYaNSjzTY9UlQ8aI3l0sK-gqfKjMbo/s320/DSCN0541.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Think I went a bit OTT with this one, lol. All the papers I've used were downloaded from Pinterest, I've then re-coloured (don't know if that is even a word) them and re-sized. I've distressed all the edges using a scissors and then added glitter flakes.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The largest snowflake was cut on my Silhouette Cameo and the others were from <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4pcs-Christmas-Snowflake-Cutting-Dies-Stencils-for-DIY-Scrapbooking-photo-album-Decorative-Embossing-Hand-Craft-Cutting/32745450710.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.9.M2v0Dg&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_2_10152_10065_10151_10068_10130_5490020_10209_5470011_10192_10190_10307_10301_10137_10303_10060_10155_10154_10056_10055_10054_10059_100031_10099_5460020_10103_10102_10052_10053_10142_10107_10050_10051_10324_10325_5380020_10326_10084_10083_10080_10082_10081_10110_10111_10112_10113_10114_10179_10312_10313_10184_10314_10078_10079_10210_10073_5540020,searchweb201603_21,ppcSwitch_4&btsid=36f33643-ecb3-43c8-bce8-7ba2242ff45d&algo_expid=6c780fad-f746-4dfa-9dff-c7f4ba4662c5-1&algo_pvid=6c780fad-f746-4dfa-9dff-c7f4ba4662c5&transAbTest=ae803_3&smToken=afe06310dc8545759d3618187554ec2d&smSign=nb5TkL%2Btyjp7CyDPBxeJgQ%3D%3D" target="_blank">Aliexpress</a>. I cut them all in white card and used spray adhesive to add some iridescent glitter.</div>
<div>

I made my poinsettias using my own template with white <a href="http://www.foamiranworld.com/" target="_blank">foamiran</a> and coloured them lightly with a blue oil pastel (colour doesn't show at all in pic). I have used Sue Wilson Pine Cone and Greenery die set behind the poinsettias and finished off with some little pine cones I bought in Hobbycraft (modelling section) I think they were around £3, and I've coloured them with some tippex. I added a pink organza bow, which I have 'shabbied' by heating with my heat gun.</div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've used white pearlescent and silver mirri card but started with a 8" x 8" scalloped card blank (purchased in The Range).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The die I have used for my background and the frame around my church is <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Sue Wilson Swirly Vine Die Set</a><u>.</u> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've cut the <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/METAL-CUTTING-DIES-paper-craft-Scrapbook-card-embossing-stencils-snow-house-church-castle-abbey-cutter-home/32798376015.html?spm=2114.01010208.3.16.UY54te&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0%2Csearchweb201602_5_10152_10065_10151_10068_10130_10192_10190_10301_10136_10137_10303_10060_10155_437_10154_10056_10055_10054_10059_303_100031_10099_10103_10102_10052_10053_10142_10107_10050_10051_10084_10083_10119_10080_10082_10081_10110_519_10111_10112_10113_10114_10179_10182_10184_10078_10079_10073_10120_10189_142%2Csearchweb201603_51%2CppcSwitch_7&btsid=44665b9c-dfff-46d3-b5e4-e443d8c675a3&algo_expid=1916556a-f1d4-48a4-8b72-129bc3d1f484-2&algo_pvid=1916556a-f1d4-48a4-8b72-129bc3d1f484&fref=gc&dti=270002953439101" target="_blank">Church die</a> several times so that I've got lots of extra trees to layer and I then fussy cut some silver mirri card to back the church and topped the roof with some glass glitter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To finish off I've cut lots of <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1pcs-Metal-Steel-IHS-Christian-Plant-vines-Cutting-Dies-Stencil-For-DIY-Scrapbooking-Album-Paper-Card/32804176799.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.0cskug" target="_blank">Ivy</a> and outlined it with a silver gel pen, added a bow with some <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Multi-size-1PCS-Gold-Silver-Ribbon-Christmas-Packing-Ribbon-Tape-Webbing-Invitation-Card-Gift-Wrapping-Ribbon/32751635845.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.FNsRrS" target="_blank">silver ribbon</a> and put some <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shipping-Many-Colors-3mm-1000Pcs-Craft-ABS-Imitation-Pearls-Half-Round-Flatback-Pearls-Resin-Diy/32593103752.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.1.I31L1K&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_3_10152_10065_10151_10130_5490020_10068_10209_10192_10190_10307_10301_10137_10303_10060_10155_10154_10333_10334_10056_10335_10055_10336_10054_10059_5470020_10332_100031_10099_5460020_10103_10102_10052_10053_10107_10050_10142_10051_10324_10325_5380020_10326_10084_10083_10080_10082_10081_10110_10111_10112_10113_10114_10179_10312_10313_10314_10184_10078_10079_10210_10073-10333,searchweb201603_2,ppcSwitch_7&btsid=55b6bed0-783e-4fba-8d34-c8c72eccf548&algo_expid=489e69b9-1c56-4aba-b9d7-1b6414bc50c8-0&algo_pvid=489e69b9-1c56-4aba-b9d7-1b6414bc50c8&transAbTest=ae803_1" target="_blank">silver pearls</a> in each corner, also in each corner of the frame.</div>

Inside I've used a wooden Penny Black stamp (that I've had in my stash for years) for the sentiment and added more of the ivy in each corner and I've also added the <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1Piece-Metal-Frame-Christmas-Scepter-Cutting-Dies-DIY-Scrapbooking-Photo-Album-Diary-Decorative-Embossing/32763764222.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.linRkx" target="_blank">lamppost</a> using a little colour on it by using a silver gel pen.</div>

The card I'm sharing today was made last week and I intended to send it to the winner of my craft giveaway to thank them for following my blog. Hayley Green was the name picked out of the hat but unfortunately Hayley still hasn't been in contact, so I'll give her a few more days and if she hasn't contacted me by Wednesday I'll draw another name.<br />

The background paper I have used was a free download, unfortunately I can't remember where from as I have had it on my laptop for a few years, but at the end of the post I'll list some of my favourite blogs for lovely papers. Feel free to take a copy of the one below.</div>

I have made the lilies out of <a href="http://www.foamiranworld.com/" target="_blank">white foamiran</a> and coloured them with oil pastels and pro markers. The white frame and eastern trellis were cut using my silhouette cameo and I printed the 'with thanks' on my laptop and cut the banner freehand.</div>

I trimmed the sheet and used tumbled glass distress ink around the edges and matted it onto some blue card and then used foam tape to layer it onto a 8" x 8" white card blank. I also downloaded some maps from <a href="https://freevintagedigistamps.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">https://freevintagedigistamps.blogspot.co.uk</a> nd cut a strip of a map and layered it behind some of the blue card which I had die cut using Sue Wilson <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Stitched Lattice Frames</a>. I also used the map behind my die-cut motorbike, which I purchased from <a href="http://www.aliexpress.com/" target="_blank">Aliexpress</a>.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For the tags I die cut some small rectangles and cut the tag ends by hand, then stamped the greetings in vintage sepia versafine ink, using some free stamps from a magazine.</div>

I am, by no means an expert and there are some fantastic facebook groups - foamiran flower lovers being one, where there are amazing flower examples. For this card I've used some red poinsettias and I'll pop all the details on the blog tomorrow, along with details of how you can get a goody box with 100 glue sticks in my giveaway.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcF5UXs7-8N_vq6PhJSBHYGLmwe5BJUKBwraTBK6gIHRgiP4vR4y5D2gRD0X8UKtKyHxCoYqTaK3wSPAy1mDTBd92kBZGgAPCMqilRukxfRKrXCbWD5laImktmZhfkHvlzly2bkmuH8ow/s1600/DSCN0528.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1127" data-original-width="1280" height="281" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcF5UXs7-8N_vq6PhJSBHYGLmwe5BJUKBwraTBK6gIHRgiP4vR4y5D2gRD0X8UKtKyHxCoYqTaK3wSPAy1mDTBd92kBZGgAPCMqilRukxfRKrXCbWD5laImktmZhfkHvlzly2bkmuH8ow/s320/DSCN0528.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
I started making poinsettias with my dies but have found that when I heat or manipulate the foamiran, the centres become so small that it's impossible to put stamens through.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAdc18-8sHAQqaHhyphenhyphen1PmM_mrTPFD2A74oHbuci0Eq5uwME1vqqsAdxO-hF2Tf_TyC1S1Adp-RIfDE2kc9ABU3JZVmJ2Yd1GMpczpgYWtsDDp8RxIkmU2ghqkkEh30kkM9HwwugKMDCkD8/s1600/DSCN0526.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAdc18-8sHAQqaHhyphenhyphen1PmM_mrTPFD2A74oHbuci0Eq5uwME1vqqsAdxO-hF2Tf_TyC1S1Adp-RIfDE2kc9ABU3JZVmJ2Yd1GMpczpgYWtsDDp8RxIkmU2ghqkkEh30kkM9HwwugKMDCkD8/s320/DSCN0526.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
As you can see by the above pic, the one I've heated is in my hand.</div>
<div>
So I had a play around until I was happy and drew out a template, where I have kept the centre of the flowers large enough for the stamens to be pulled through. The template below can be saved and printed out, it should be 3" x 3", easy to do if you have serif craft artist or my craft studio, If your just printing from windows the just choose the nearest pic size.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCfTUc-LuWJdQNEgQ_dbGWEzHxQgY1lCsV3cFzzxn1_FDkEtUuhnxq3DWnC3JkZDvUtnFyt04TLjt3Weudns8M3ZEkuwGxeUJoaxlHoKmy-D9zyqObQvgUEIn7PXJjVx1rAMVBWT5RPWM/s1600/blog+poinsettia+template.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="900" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCfTUc-LuWJdQNEgQ_dbGWEzHxQgY1lCsV3cFzzxn1_FDkEtUuhnxq3DWnC3JkZDvUtnFyt04TLjt3Weudns8M3ZEkuwGxeUJoaxlHoKmy-D9zyqObQvgUEIn7PXJjVx1rAMVBWT5RPWM/s320/blog+poinsettia+template.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So I started with a sheet of red foamiran from <a href="http://www.foamiranworld.com/" target="_blank">Foamiran World</a> and it really is a lovely 'true colour' Christmas red, I've drawn around the template, covering the whole sheet.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhp508o2HiHVLRPkqFnvj6x6igCa9ETeTITt1MnFAe7zHFYzXBxYnCR1x6QLgDyV8_BlALv2lcdABwqcKK6HoIBrP4LrgApheSw5YWQGIeW-iz_bdtC3TgmDDTMWQaPw3TJzF3xU17WNLw/s1600/DSCN0510.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhp508o2HiHVLRPkqFnvj6x6igCa9ETeTITt1MnFAe7zHFYzXBxYnCR1x6QLgDyV8_BlALv2lcdABwqcKK6HoIBrP4LrgApheSw5YWQGIeW-iz_bdtC3TgmDDTMWQaPw3TJzF3xU17WNLw/s320/DSCN0510.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
I then coloured the centres and some edges of the leaves with a yellow oil pastel (quite randomly).</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA1gNh9wA9IgUHjqrG0S1jMTLukHQTwxgl_SUhzngn0u9CmYuK8EZ28SPK1QIcJrlNozc8NEA_Fa2PeKc1H-aDQczZ7ogtkSZAymIRAtV6fgGvHuwW4t1eAT1hQCXlyMlSAV4lc_9OTJI/s1600/DSCN0512.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA1gNh9wA9IgUHjqrG0S1jMTLukHQTwxgl_SUhzngn0u9CmYuK8EZ28SPK1QIcJrlNozc8NEA_Fa2PeKc1H-aDQczZ7ogtkSZAymIRAtV6fgGvHuwW4t1eAT1hQCXlyMlSAV4lc_9OTJI/s320/DSCN0512.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
This foamiran can be manipulated slightly without heat, but I've found the best results by heating. I put my iron on low (no water, lol). I then just press the flower against the hot plate (use tweezers if you need to) only for a second or two.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgid9r-RX863n8ZB6gNW83HmiMx6WyU8cQ_RjQyVw-k0XvdGwFZuCYEdSPVm5Qh5b6m96LmOS3eSYa1J9uLiXpe7lx7DsWPszP6o_pB0Tft7J1luvFoGkIbBJLjqW7fiQ5g5QcH6zNJnc/s1600/DSCN0513.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgid9r-RX863n8ZB6gNW83HmiMx6WyU8cQ_RjQyVw-k0XvdGwFZuCYEdSPVm5Qh5b6m96LmOS3eSYa1J9uLiXpe7lx7DsWPszP6o_pB0Tft7J1luvFoGkIbBJLjqW7fiQ5g5QcH6zNJnc/s320/DSCN0513.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Then fold the petals in on themselves and give it a twist. I try and be quite gentle doing this because I'm quite heavy handed and have torn a few.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6GBbsNIMtiZaG9hYMUlOR9sL642L-IeMosp0gPbCyS6A4o_JHgRmRKfTtCC06dqQkkDdaAjG-X_xCWwqY41qEqXMANFhwUA9BaEuacuYkamlBvqijhbSW_GWyTTTdH6tssRgfjQLv_ms/s1600/DSCN0514.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6GBbsNIMtiZaG9hYMUlOR9sL642L-IeMosp0gPbCyS6A4o_JHgRmRKfTtCC06dqQkkDdaAjG-X_xCWwqY41qEqXMANFhwUA9BaEuacuYkamlBvqijhbSW_GWyTTTdH6tssRgfjQLv_ms/s320/DSCN0514.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Open out the flower.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_NKCHQ71gCmJbMqJbPGt6ZGBoLC0GbKTYVY6JoKudF-X7R5SN2Sc8gPLseK6QXRaoFKiMBf4lDt0aKZpDQW-dOxZzHGm9nsce_-BEvsBbaH80k8Ekmmita8_DBmff87L_xBYZhpgO8xA/s1600/DSCN0515.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_NKCHQ71gCmJbMqJbPGt6ZGBoLC0GbKTYVY6JoKudF-X7R5SN2Sc8gPLseK6QXRaoFKiMBf4lDt0aKZpDQW-dOxZzHGm9nsce_-BEvsBbaH80k8Ekmmita8_DBmff87L_xBYZhpgO8xA/s320/DSCN0515.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Then lightly stretch the petals into the shape you want.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfwq2pbcJLCwyw1lWXjHpteGayYLHqr71iX8hlykhAtJvimo3nFYfLYcmxo9T4RLGdn-s-vUZolartmToGYzG8_cvAq-VongOabgTR6MvMqWGFwJxDcXBVPKPPS5nj0HE1el8KEgEBMSs/s1600/DSCN0516.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfwq2pbcJLCwyw1lWXjHpteGayYLHqr71iX8hlykhAtJvimo3nFYfLYcmxo9T4RLGdn-s-vUZolartmToGYzG8_cvAq-VongOabgTR6MvMqWGFwJxDcXBVPKPPS5nj0HE1el8KEgEBMSs/s320/DSCN0516.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUFpVjbexIkPlZFkNLWpUppxemRO1DFdt9rN5oxOwTGc-WjYDHBCFN8F-ADW7d25DsYWIh8EkkRZYcUqd-ggFTO2hkQOcVckVClTv-VujHKigcqOZgVZKF9oXZSEBqo_mGAavSyaYdFz0/s1600/DSCN0516.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUFpVjbexIkPlZFkNLWpUppxemRO1DFdt9rN5oxOwTGc-WjYDHBCFN8F-ADW7d25DsYWIh8EkkRZYcUqd-ggFTO2hkQOcVckVClTv-VujHKigcqOZgVZKF9oXZSEBqo_mGAavSyaYdFz0/s320/DSCN0516.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
When your happy with the shape, use a dab of hot glue (off centre) to stick two together, so that the petals are showing on both flowers, then using a poky tool pierce a hole through the centre.<br />

Then take a bunch of stamens, I just give the ends a little twist and can usually manage to feed them through the centre, although this can be fiddly.</div>

<div>
Whichever way I feed the stamens through the flower, I always finish by putting a dab of hot glue at the back of the flower, to ensure the stamens are secure.</div>

I've got an old glue gun but it typically takes the larger glue sticks, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to finish them off.<br />
<br />
So I've got a few quick cards to share with you. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXhVNbwpF4DTSuEFeanBItYF0ryfdnHBdNN02GoDXanr7tQ_LbW8CuedDFZwdloLNBTw_-w80PcuY3EwnPSBUcEhAo4KtNk0CvPSmlZwLT-OY-HK3iAeX29JZ_5BSdjoHDx_XaKtsqaPE/s1600/DSCN0501.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1444" data-original-width="1056" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXhVNbwpF4DTSuEFeanBItYF0ryfdnHBdNN02GoDXanr7tQ_LbW8CuedDFZwdloLNBTw_-w80PcuY3EwnPSBUcEhAo4KtNk0CvPSmlZwLT-OY-HK3iAeX29JZ_5BSdjoHDx_XaKtsqaPE/s320/DSCN0501.JPG" width="234" /></a></div>
<div>
This card couldn't be simpler, I've started with a sheet of a4 black card and sprayed it with spray & sparkle pearl diamond by<a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/" target="_blank"> Crafters Companion </a>(got a slight addiction to this stuff, love it!). When dry I folded the card in half to make a a5 card blank and layered with gold mirri. I then cut lots of <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4pcs-Snowflake-Cutting-Dies-Christmas-Metal-Cutting-Dies-Stencils-for-DIY-Die-Cut-Stencil-Decorative-Scrapbooking/32809102250.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.rOZjVQ" target="_blank">snowflakes</a> out of goldmirri and arranged them until I was happy, stuck them down and cut off all the overhanging edges. I also cut the<a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/110-93mm-christmas-tree-Dear-New-Hot-Stencil-Metal-Cutting-Knives-Cutting-Dies-Practice-DIY-Scrapbooking/32820268657.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.pXstai" target="_blank"> reindeer</a> out of gold mirri. The black ribbon was some I found lurking in the bottom of my ribbon box and then I added a few of the<a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/120Pcs-set-10mm-Metal-Golden-Small-Bell-Trumpet-Bells-For-Christmas-Tree-Decor-Handmade-Jewelry-Pendants/32774096498.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.pXstai" target="_blank"> gold bells</a>.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My second card was even quicker, again I used a a5 card, then layered it with some gold glitter card I had in my stash (unfortunately the glitter doesn't show at all in the pic).</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="1290" data-original-width="1023" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRnq5jcYO6yJqAuaoPqo0JUBDYqQnEw4yOXnZJPqYuil_wyvScA4sFAsEmverG_vK4-Y0_5WEePjYRSZmVz7HDCpBcQp8anjFteHVDBnkutrIZ50dYy9RBUc1xt_8z2tFVC86n32Splzg/s320/DSCN0503.JPG" width="253" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then cut a piece of a5 pearlescent card I used the <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/22-style-scrapbooking-DIY-lace-frame-vines-leaf-Shape-Metal-steel-cutting-die-flower-Shape-Book/32816590468.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.fon3Be" target="_blank">decorative die</a> and cut the card from the top, then bottom. I cut the <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/ASLT-Merry-Christmas-Cutting-Dies-Stencil-For-DIY-Scrapbook-Album-Paper-Card/32761982186.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.0B1QnR" target="_blank">Merry Christmas</a> die out of the same gold glitter card and glued it to the centre, I finished it off by adding little <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Wholesale-4mm-400pcs-DIY-Half-Round-Pearl-Bead-Flat-Back-Scrapbook-For-Craft-Pick-Colors/32797165462.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.7KSKvs" target="_blank">pearls</a> to each corner.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I found the little image free on Pinterest and just thought of a window card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4PHRHKu3DalRNIaO9D8JY6sBzuCnSUnL_SAN8qs9q-xOjuOAcLiTewcu-AT8OurhtdC8a2OC3rXHf9VEs4LEDbqwRDgCBxCqtkNfVG8e-YzqCNqpJ70rvL0bU6oImQu_MgwYQH49D9OQ/s1600/DSCN0494.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1178" data-original-width="774" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4PHRHKu3DalRNIaO9D8JY6sBzuCnSUnL_SAN8qs9q-xOjuOAcLiTewcu-AT8OurhtdC8a2OC3rXHf9VEs4LEDbqwRDgCBxCqtkNfVG8e-YzqCNqpJ70rvL0bU6oImQu_MgwYQH49D9OQ/s320/DSCN0494.JPG" width="210" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started by making a 91/2" x 51/2" tent fold card, then layered some pale blue merry Christmas paper from Hearts designs Bettie & Berties Christmas digi kit (doesn't really show in pic), and I,ve used tumbled glass distress ink around the edges.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've taken my image into craft artist, sized it to approx. 5" square, then printed, cut and added some glamour dust to the snow. I then cut a piece of acetate the same size and used beads of silicone glue to attatch it to the front of the image, giving it a little bit of depth.</div>
I then cut a 5" square frame in white card (using Spellbinders large square nestabilities, but any square nesting dies would do the same job) and also 2 really thin pieces of card for the middle of the window (can't think what it's called, lol) and stuck these onto the acetate, again with silicone glue.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsZF6WwvIlo36dfdWGBEQg0Q29mdrq_Sy58OQCYsMERnJXBgAPBgcsCnS7jS4aqYce-S-il-XRveu0gTN-UQ3gFib7XBSt2IHW4f_fm3Bw_x_OqJszmESed5dd1J2ru8DeRoAZf4dJ0eg/s1600/blog.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1500" data-original-width="1500" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsZF6WwvIlo36dfdWGBEQg0Q29mdrq_Sy58OQCYsMERnJXBgAPBgcsCnS7jS4aqYce-S-il-XRveu0gTN-UQ3gFib7XBSt2IHW4f_fm3Bw_x_OqJszmESed5dd1J2ru8DeRoAZf4dJ0eg/s320/blog.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
I then used this die to add to the top and bottom of the window, I don't have the link for the one I bought but you can get the same from <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/YLCD461-Multiple-Flower-Metal-Cutting-Dies-For-Scrapbooking-Stencils-DIY-Album-Cards-Decoration-Embossing-Folder-Die/32798992685.html?shortkey=auEFNNNj&addresstype=600" target="_blank">Aliexpress</a>. I cut and embossed the<a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1pcs-Metal-Steel-IHS-Christian-Plant-vines-Cutting-Dies-Stencil-For-DIY-Scrapbooking-Album-Paper-Card/32804176799.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.YenKfY" target="_blank"> ivy</a> in the same white card and added glamour dust around the edges.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjV12U9VJU7zPfi3-nS5d1vvgzYw7pWWjauYFE1ryqyUqwulOWBzWY7m3gy-SOfx0RuOKzjfc4IZAHoIku_geakD0wxTco7wCVtIfySev91BVJhZD8IZzGtmfoDa00q76lgx1V8rrfm8ho/s1600/DSCN0496.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjV12U9VJU7zPfi3-nS5d1vvgzYw7pWWjauYFE1ryqyUqwulOWBzWY7m3gy-SOfx0RuOKzjfc4IZAHoIku_geakD0wxTco7wCVtIfySev91BVJhZD8IZzGtmfoDa00q76lgx1V8rrfm8ho/s320/DSCN0496.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The sentiment I've used, at the top of the card is <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Merry Little Christmas</a> die from Sue Wilson.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkGHPksZ9nLLzFf-GQaNXxqDWlTeT3XktUEgZEu7TtP2NOJ3qnHiYy1V5uYW8ttom34bGHQlR_IF-Wg_V8z1W1m7AKKXcKViU7pRf4YA1_kVBCltipkWewlnZUZpxpnrsDv9Y06PntANo/s1600/DSCN0495.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="644" data-original-width="1560" height="132" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkGHPksZ9nLLzFf-GQaNXxqDWlTeT3XktUEgZEu7TtP2NOJ3qnHiYy1V5uYW8ttom34bGHQlR_IF-Wg_V8z1W1m7AKKXcKViU7pRf4YA1_kVBCltipkWewlnZUZpxpnrsDv9Y06PntANo/s320/DSCN0495.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
I have also used the Woodland Collection -<a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank"> Pine Cone & Greenery</a> and <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Berry Bough</a> from the Festive Collection by Sue Wilson and I've added berries and some little cones I picked up in Hobbycraft (modelling section).</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And inside I've used the same die and added a few pearls.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAo7JaQXhGj_ITP80p4D-6V10yAgkn48lc0Dhb5Dt4UJGyU0kLRlZj0kcCYgJgqgmgCkj_z5Roz_CV2lxRIT4KE74snIYunrGsHyG7jm6L7vt74eE3aiA9FDOaCm5mPiOFRB0LcgkvMKI/s1600/DSCN0474.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1082" data-original-width="1069" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAo7JaQXhGj_ITP80p4D-6V10yAgkn48lc0Dhb5Dt4UJGyU0kLRlZj0kcCYgJgqgmgCkj_z5Roz_CV2lxRIT4KE74snIYunrGsHyG7jm6L7vt74eE3aiA9FDOaCm5mPiOFRB0LcgkvMKI/s320/DSCN0474.JPG" width="316" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've used a 8" x 8" white card blank and matt & layered with papers from Pretty Posy & Botanical Notes paper pads and they are both by First Edition, I've had these in my stash a while but I think I bought them from The Range.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've slightly distressed both papers with a scissors and then blended spun sugar distress ink around the edges. I have also stamped onto the polka dot paper with spund sugar distress ink using a script rubber stamp.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The flowers are from <a href="http://www.wildorchidcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Wild Orchid Crafts</a> and I've die cut Berry Bough and Lace Edged Leaves <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">dies by Sue Wilson</a> In various shades of green and on the berry boughs I've coloured the berries in white. The pink shimmering berries were from <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/20pcs-40head-Artificial-Fruit-glass-Berries-Stamen-Christmas-decoration-DIY-Candy-gift-box-Scrapbooking-red-cherry/32800797400.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.mmCo3v" target="_blank">Aliexpress</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I created the sentiment in Craft Artist and the frame is Stockholm from the <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Scandinavian Collection</a>, also by Sue Wilson.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love this white ribbon, I bought it from <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5yards-lot-25mm-White-Organza-Lace-Ribbon-for-Packing-and-Bow-040014004009/32411670598.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.EtuYSx" target="_blank">Aliexpress</a> and at 96p for 5 yards I think it's an amazing bargain. My little pearls were also another bargain from <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Wholesale-4mm-400pcs-DIY-Half-Round-Pearl-Bead-Flat-Back-Scrapbook-For-Craft-Pick-Colors/32797165462.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.EtuYSx" target="_blank">Aliexpress</a> at 77p for 400.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I've used the same papers inside the card and also the same frame, the corners are a Marianne Design die that I've had for many years and the little butterfly is an x-cut die.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>

Many thanks for taking the time to look and for any comments you may leave.</div>

This card was made around the oval frame, which I found when I was clearing out my scrap 'boxes', lol.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj27FsBgdcbBVmbH2OB3OUlKEHy3zfhZwJdiDMNiLW6s6v744FJ_M7Z7nrkM_4_th9SkbeyltDHq6fvOW2CSCI7dpTKvLWBhH3K-6e5dHZqb_BcVyPCLjQ0zlUT0g2_WthhPaUAR_nUnV0/s1600/DSCN0484.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1027" data-original-width="1040" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj27FsBgdcbBVmbH2OB3OUlKEHy3zfhZwJdiDMNiLW6s6v744FJ_M7Z7nrkM_4_th9SkbeyltDHq6fvOW2CSCI7dpTKvLWBhH3K-6e5dHZqb_BcVyPCLjQ0zlUT0g2_WthhPaUAR_nUnV0/s320/DSCN0484.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
The card I've started with a 8" x 8" blank and the backing papers are from Hearts Designs ~ Hearts & Roses Christmas digi kit and I've used tumbled glass distress ink around the edges. I've matted this backing paper onto white card and edged it with glitter flakes.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMsHWBQrQ3lD9GWS0fkF2KZS1M8FDg67TLlIo0TQGsnPxwzs9-lHMHTHHLqbpG-k1MQLTpjfMx0jRcKSYvGEtaL890_yRkHv6Dh98WrTRUdn_lKIaPNROdXRJk6B4MWH-13EyaHURaSkU/s1600/DSCN0486.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMsHWBQrQ3lD9GWS0fkF2KZS1M8FDg67TLlIo0TQGsnPxwzs9-lHMHTHHLqbpG-k1MQLTpjfMx0jRcKSYvGEtaL890_yRkHv6Dh98WrTRUdn_lKIaPNROdXRJk6B4MWH-13EyaHURaSkU/s320/DSCN0486.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div>
The sentiment was also printed and cut from the same digi kit and my frame was cut using my cameo silhouette. I then sprayed the frame with glue and covered that with the glitter flakes too.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5OKMteC7WArs5HzSinSMSvv0r9IDpii9tFp8iuER2Qde0z4V9IodMMs563pit66_REs17LQW0_K2qkwgCWcADOXqCbL_DSxJK4Fe5zcZJEi_8Ot5oU8-2s4zencC_O3JiI-JPmcuhpjc/s1600/DSCN0485.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="931" data-original-width="906" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5OKMteC7WArs5HzSinSMSvv0r9IDpii9tFp8iuER2Qde0z4V9IodMMs563pit66_REs17LQW0_K2qkwgCWcADOXqCbL_DSxJK4Fe5zcZJEi_8Ot5oU8-2s4zencC_O3JiI-JPmcuhpjc/s320/DSCN0485.JPG" width="311" /></a></div>
<div>
The poinsettias were cut out of <a href="http://www.foamiranworld.com/" target="_blank">white foamiran </a>and I've used Pentel oil pastels to add a little bit of colour, I purchased these from <a href="http://www.theworks.co.uk/" target="_blank">the works</a>. All the stamens were bought from <a href="http://aliexpress./">Aliexpress.</a></div>
<div>
The cute little ice skates were printed from Betty & Berties Christmas digi kit, again by Hearts Designs and the white foliage is a die by Sue Wilson called <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Berry Bough</a>.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0PB-p4thDVQONLR1Jd5jMAcwwneEyZVorzhJK0ml1YgujfGKhXTZZLnn9Mls4KLLv1vdJuoSmYm6yeoNsfEaS1O6dsMC52bxWy69kYgN77Zvj_dwOKyTmZyhRvn_u1SBJ6NBA9aZs4LI/s1600/DSCN0487.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0PB-p4thDVQONLR1Jd5jMAcwwneEyZVorzhJK0ml1YgujfGKhXTZZLnn9Mls4KLLv1vdJuoSmYm6yeoNsfEaS1O6dsMC52bxWy69kYgN77Zvj_dwOKyTmZyhRvn_u1SBJ6NBA9aZs4LI/s320/DSCN0487.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I've used some white raffia for the bow and used <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Pine Cone & Greenery die set</a><div>
for the foliage, the pine cones were cut in pale grey metallic card and I've inked through the die with moonlit white Brilliance ink to give the appearance of snow.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJBSkGPvcMeew133AfPIGvfhirbgZ0FVTw1rIRErXWQ8FKkbm1xC-PG8-nsuJcoVkh-y0ZfaO4btUUrDjhrhBQyE_moV0evPSbklZvr_tuAvb62hL7HI0E2JIfz4VzlnMIAVDBTuE_0FU/s1600/DSCN0488.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1053" data-original-width="1531" height="220" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJBSkGPvcMeew133AfPIGvfhirbgZ0FVTw1rIRErXWQ8FKkbm1xC-PG8-nsuJcoVkh-y0ZfaO4btUUrDjhrhBQyE_moV0evPSbklZvr_tuAvb62hL7HI0E2JIfz4VzlnMIAVDBTuE_0FU/s320/DSCN0488.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
For inside I've used the same backing paper then used Spellbinders labels 1 for the frames.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9vxeUeoS42aj2zjCT3_G1OdRb3LIfl5Z9XagP3SFjUyzN9ybdH9opuZO07pTZQruMZViqWJo5hqtqy_PX4yzgsGwmWPqupe4hjl15sCIoqQdm_bH_tfNNWPl08zBy8AfnqI5vndL0eXA/s1600/DSCN0489.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1106" data-original-width="1261" height="280" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9vxeUeoS42aj2zjCT3_G1OdRb3LIfl5Z9XagP3SFjUyzN9ybdH9opuZO07pTZQruMZViqWJo5hqtqy_PX4yzgsGwmWPqupe4hjl15sCIoqQdm_bH_tfNNWPl08zBy8AfnqI5vndL0eXA/s320/DSCN0489.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
I've again cut the cute ice skates and berry bough die and I've also used a Woodware holly punch.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvBY8j8Sao7Hy88fdEb4oI59QyY3uyS82IHq68QaGdTxCmVAfB5IwrUhbit4IILFjN9EHVFJAUls-QailY9YSlve-GX7-q6SUW28u0H6YlBjJmBwEQHPMml_Jm6QPZXKGh_5wncqLwruI/s1600/DSCN0490.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1121" data-original-width="1196" height="299" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvBY8j8Sao7Hy88fdEb4oI59QyY3uyS82IHq68QaGdTxCmVAfB5IwrUhbit4IILFjN9EHVFJAUls-QailY9YSlve-GX7-q6SUW28u0H6YlBjJmBwEQHPMml_Jm6QPZXKGh_5wncqLwruI/s320/DSCN0490.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

I'm ok though, still making tonnes of Christmas cards, I suppose, like a lot of crafters, it's like therapy, I've been off work since January with a lung condition, so too much time on my hands, lol, but not long now until I see the specialist later this month.<br />
<br />
I'm really not sure about the colour on the two cards I'm sharing today.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtdK7f4KMItV34OdNFSnl3GP7edzavBZKNGwbQDpYRIezm_qc3aWa1w3WMY4sRmB7MYxst0vSBodvA4SFkuiEvZjvannKYFJ4GouxAR3sBwg5dUuQPCYdsuOOSq1tNTQUITiFYABS838A/s1600/DSCN0430.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtdK7f4KMItV34OdNFSnl3GP7edzavBZKNGwbQDpYRIezm_qc3aWa1w3WMY4sRmB7MYxst0vSBodvA4SFkuiEvZjvannKYFJ4GouxAR3sBwg5dUuQPCYdsuOOSq1tNTQUITiFYABS838A/s320/DSCN0430.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For this one I used up some muted gold glitter card I had in my stash and then used spray adhesive onto cream card and added some iridescent glitter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have used the following Sue Wilson dies - Festive Collection~Merry Little Christmas & Berry Bough, Woodland Collection~Pine Cone & Greenery & Finishing Touchess~Lace Edged Leaves.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The ribbon is silky crush from Creative Expressions.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjG_-dXGbFEHUIFyZE-oUlTcwnLcrYzwnW3BTQjDHbn4FaHTvm0WAZk2Lyel8EdTkgL8ALB83i0uc4eBfjwLGUsTaq5K7VoibKjLiAl-xw3D4x9pJa9sZGLIY_QrPQXlQ-8nvigIYFv9Ik/s1600/DSCN0431.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjG_-dXGbFEHUIFyZE-oUlTcwnLcrYzwnW3BTQjDHbn4FaHTvm0WAZk2Lyel8EdTkgL8ALB83i0uc4eBfjwLGUsTaq5K7VoibKjLiAl-xw3D4x9pJa9sZGLIY_QrPQXlQ-8nvigIYFv9Ik/s320/DSCN0431.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
I found the little bells in my stash but I think they were bought from the range.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkvwi2owTGYeWmYvcauhQ4yX6VFFEfI_FU0xLwGh_nbnSdLl7mqRmtB_8D5WMp7qMcm6RZnUhLzAA2Xj2Zh5psgLAgUm6L2eO9-YwexU2RuqmgYafjqE5V6qDc6ZVeHzoPieqahBiDmmc/s1600/DSCN0432.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkvwi2owTGYeWmYvcauhQ4yX6VFFEfI_FU0xLwGh_nbnSdLl7mqRmtB_8D5WMp7qMcm6RZnUhLzAA2Xj2Zh5psgLAgUm6L2eO9-YwexU2RuqmgYafjqE5V6qDc6ZVeHzoPieqahBiDmmc/s320/DSCN0432.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
And inside I've used a Spellbinders die, matted onto the gold card and the sentiment is a wooden Penny Black stamp.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRnDB26yCR6PCi5X4SlEkut14feMhyphenhyphen4mukB2MisBnselPiOYe9fdyIanCV751dtnz6vqCncWkfAmWm1hmAGF4AYLylb7eZBVIUA47wbf-xqtdh_ZQCYtvX2Mq9ocUAz9mm_Vwr9q4gQpg/s1600/DSCN0442.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRnDB26yCR6PCi5X4SlEkut14feMhyphenhyphen4mukB2MisBnselPiOYe9fdyIanCV751dtnz6vqCncWkfAmWm1hmAGF4AYLylb7eZBVIUA47wbf-xqtdh_ZQCYtvX2Mq9ocUAz9mm_Vwr9q4gQpg/s320/DSCN0442.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
For this second card I've used some snowflake stamps that cost £2 in Hobbycraft to stamp the background and I've used the following Sue Wilson dies - The Scandinavian Collection~Stockholm and Festive Collection~Poinsettia Additions.</div>
<div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7ZCEIOMWnlZWrDdLv5afNka4w5Q-6htFXhtMqIG-J6pU9eAjejDYim4ZQqC8HeMorkW7ZeRiKG448_ep0hvo56ZFekSWIao5YjGBlye3bKAvlma2KWedRpRegOkdU20PlzhWMf7disZY/s1600/DSCN0464.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1085" data-original-width="1133" height="306" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7ZCEIOMWnlZWrDdLv5afNka4w5Q-6htFXhtMqIG-J6pU9eAjejDYim4ZQqC8HeMorkW7ZeRiKG448_ep0hvo56ZFekSWIao5YjGBlye3bKAvlma2KWedRpRegOkdU20PlzhWMf7disZY/s320/DSCN0464.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started with a 8" x 8" card blank and distressed some pale blue backing paper (printed from craft artist) with a scissors, then used some tumbled glass distress ink.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the rounded square shape I have used a glitter girls embossing board called emboss to impress, firstly in white, I then went around the edges of the entire shape with some glitter flakes (I absolutely love this stuff, it gets everywhere but it's worth it, I think it's perfect for snowy scenes as it's so dimensional, I think it cost £1.99 from a shop called Buyology.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div>
I then embossed and cut the same shape out of a blue and white snow scene from a digi kit, and added the same glitter flakes. I then added the fir trees, lamppost and snowflakes (all dies from <a href="http://www.aliexpress.com/" target="_blank">Aliexpress</a>) and added the glitter flakes. The baubles were cut from a backing paper, also from a digi kit.</div>

The little iceskater is a digital stamp from <a href="http://www.craftsandme.co.uk/index.php?cPath=218_239" target="_blank">Crafts and Me </a>and I printed her onto some watercolour paper and coloured her with promarkers.</div>

I finished by adding some ribbon and berries, both from Aliexpress.</div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO9feVa7YBL7H2B1E1C5bJF9_MUGHPv8Zhm9-4xdCEgYBN6sclLzBQca-LOHzOAa0JPOv1ZIKY6NOQBKKqVfrI6BR3cbuQ-VwBbU25bqI2xzWgN9WEhziMwCVhS6_YG7C9IB_c_4jQIDo/s1600/DSCN0457.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1417" data-original-width="1600" height="283" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO9feVa7YBL7H2B1E1C5bJF9_MUGHPv8Zhm9-4xdCEgYBN6sclLzBQca-LOHzOAa0JPOv1ZIKY6NOQBKKqVfrI6BR3cbuQ-VwBbU25bqI2xzWgN9WEhziMwCVhS6_YG7C9IB_c_4jQIDo/s320/DSCN0457.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
The photo makes the card look much brighter, it is actually navy, I've used a promarker to darken the card and colour the pearls.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I started with a 8 x 8 inch scalloped card blank and cut my navy card using Sue Wilson <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Stitched Lattice Frames</a> which I extended to make a square. I then cut my frame out of silver mirri card using Spellbinders large square nestabilities. I cut various size <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4pcs-Snowflake-Cutting-Dies-Christmas-Metal-Cutting-Dies-Stencils-for-DIY-Die-Cut-Stencil-Decorative-Scrapbooking/32809102250.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.rWFK4k" target="_blank">snowflakes</a> and glued them to the back of my silver frame.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I cut the <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/12-5-10-2cm-Christmas-Tree-Metal-Cutting-Dies-Stencils-for-DIY-Scrapbooking-photo-album-Decorative/32778292810.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.100.za8qUP&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_3_10152_10065_10151_10068_10130_10209_10192_10190_10307_10301_10137_10303_10060_10155_10154_5370011_10056_10055_10054_10059_100031_10099_10103_10102_10052_10053_10142_10107_10050_10051_10084_10083_10080_10082_10081_10110_10111_10112_10113_10114_10179_10310_10312_10184_10078_10079_10210_10073-10050,searchweb201603_13,ppcSwitch_5&btsid=45150550-de87-40a4-a1ac-354230053e6d&algo_expid=20812baf-3b18-4b3b-93b4-a8d2936d6bb6-12&algo_pvid=20812baf-3b18-4b3b-93b4-a8d2936d6bb6" target="_blank">Christmas Tree</a> in silver mirri card then glued it onto some of my navy card and cut around it, I then added some <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Wholesale-4mm-400pcs-DIY-Half-Round-Pearl-Bead-Flat-Back-Scrapbook-For-Craft-Pick-Colors/32797165462.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.rWFK4k" target="_blank">pearls</a> which I had coloured to match the navy card.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The sentiment is Sue Wilson <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Merry Little Christmas</a>, which I cut in navy card.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
For the inside (apologies for the terrible pic), I've cut the lamppost and the ivy out of white card and outlined them all with a navy promarker. I've cut the sentiment (Penny Black wooden stamp) using a circle die in silver glitter card.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Nearly forgot, the Navy ribbon was a bargain from Hobbycraft (£1).</div>

I've got two cards to share today, this first card is one of my first attempts at making foamiran flowers.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVDfKn6HvBjkvuEw5Q1JBMwh7v-1DBhPABJAH7oFufaanTke6BqwZe6cobhQfc_j8kZIz9Gr7-5OPLwjAFoN7Iw-u3-J1qzN6WuzEorkQJQKJL62gujbQ4dwBVpMqY7KWnYEmwtrkcUS4/s1600/DSCN0459.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1128" data-original-width="871" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVDfKn6HvBjkvuEw5Q1JBMwh7v-1DBhPABJAH7oFufaanTke6BqwZe6cobhQfc_j8kZIz9Gr7-5OPLwjAFoN7Iw-u3-J1qzN6WuzEorkQJQKJL62gujbQ4dwBVpMqY7KWnYEmwtrkcUS4/s320/DSCN0459.JPG" width="247" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The flowers haven't photographed very well, the colour is much paler in reality. I started with a A5 card and layered with some gold mirri card. For the card front, I firstly embossed using my 'snowflake embossing folder', then used an edger die from<u> </u><u><a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Curve-Sewing-Thread-Metal-Cutting-Dies-For-Scrapbooking-DIY-Cards-Album-Decoration-Embossing-Folder-Template-Die/32793371248.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.qK88a3" target="_blank">Aliexpress.</a></u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I cut the poinsettias with white foamiran from www.foamiranworld.com using Poinsettia Additions dies from the festive collection by Sue Wilson.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGLZQoQ_4qnCmeksMLGkESsBp97A6IlPzcuAvp4P9gqBZYlCWUs3TNc3a3vhdKiyMgrkW13JcWB0rZqpzBjXYwIqTYhyphenhyphenvUuPAiFNgsJaKMbvavuQHWyKUr94SJcS0SX3p1Vt6vorj6i7Y/s1600/DSCN0428.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGLZQoQ_4qnCmeksMLGkESsBp97A6IlPzcuAvp4P9gqBZYlCWUs3TNc3a3vhdKiyMgrkW13JcWB0rZqpzBjXYwIqTYhyphenhyphenvUuPAiFNgsJaKMbvavuQHWyKUr94SJcS0SX3p1Vt6vorj6i7Y/s320/DSCN0428.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I used Pentel Oil Pastels (a few pounds in the works) and blended with a baby wipe before heating and shaping.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For the foliage I have used a Woodware holly punch,<a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank"> berry bough and pine cone & greenery die sets</a> by Sue Wilson and cut them in a mixture of the white and gold mirri card.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The sentiment is <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Merry Little Christmas.</a> The ribbon is silky crush from Creative Expressions.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0suNCjtctUdeB47lY7HnbEyUEda50c_WXh_JVWOObKE4wdi-eXPRpt6jhP9g5JHaRJFUEK4SDeKjODrsFUNNam7jz39ImqfIWTJ3Upx_2ipBRe-9aAWXo2o-dke95Qh2dy6GP86ranZk/s1600/DSCN0462.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0suNCjtctUdeB47lY7HnbEyUEda50c_WXh_JVWOObKE4wdi-eXPRpt6jhP9g5JHaRJFUEK4SDeKjODrsFUNNam7jz39ImqfIWTJ3Upx_2ipBRe-9aAWXo2o-dke95Qh2dy6GP86ranZk/s320/DSCN0462.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For the inside, I've used a <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4pcs-Snowflake-Cutting-Dies-Christmas-Metal-Cutting-Dies-Stencils-for-DIY-Die-Cut-Stencil-Decorative-Scrapbooking/32809102250.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.FSmJL3" target="_blank">snowflake die</a> and cut into sections for the corners in gold mirri card. The <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-PC-Die-Cutter-Stencil-Cutting-Dies-For-DIY-Scrapbooking-Album-Decor-Paper-Ostrich-Heart-Love/32792986325.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.Zzpb1B" target="_blank">bauble die</a> was also cut with the gold mirri card. For the sentiment I've used a wooden Penny Black stamp that comes out every year and the frame is Porto die set from the Portugese collection by Sue Wilson.</div>

This one was quite a quick make.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigIUSSYBFVY7Ik9SsZaqGxvKzimJF62ChYV_EhLbFVSfXIY-Y16DNMytY2Ieb6N_Ds8F8ufOsd9ZSrB4tW7DSxakxfdBdjZxk1EEVqimP6A5Dr3ChXuX2gjds04p-p7iV_rKA5oJOcHoE/s1600/DSCN0439.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigIUSSYBFVY7Ik9SsZaqGxvKzimJF62ChYV_EhLbFVSfXIY-Y16DNMytY2Ieb6N_Ds8F8ufOsd9ZSrB4tW7DSxakxfdBdjZxk1EEVqimP6A5Dr3ChXuX2gjds04p-p7iV_rKA5oJOcHoE/s320/DSCN0439.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started with a a5 card blank and matt & layered with red card & gold mirri. I then cut a circle aperture into the top layer of white card using an unbranded die from <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Circle-Round-Metal-Cutting-Dies-Stencils-DIY-Scrapbooking-Embossing-Decor-Craft-Y102/32776782191.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.BMcKwI" target="_blank">Aliexpress</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I topped the aperture with a circle frame using the same die as above, and added the ivy die from <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1pcs-Metal-Steel-IHS-Christian-Plant-vines-Cutting-Dies-Stencil-For-DIY-Scrapbooking-Album-Paper-Card/32804176799.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.yrlHzk" target="_blank">Aliexpress</a>, I then die cut the <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2017-1-pcs-Fence-Metal-DIY-Cutting-Dies-Stencil-Paper-Card-Scrapbook-Embossing-Craft-crafts-dies/32803383757.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.yrlHzk" target="_blank">picket fence</a>, the <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1Piece-Metal-Frame-Christmas-Scepter-Cutting-Dies-DIY-Scrapbooking-Photo-Album-Diary-Decorative-Embossing/32763764222.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.RZ2z2s" target="_blank">lamppost</a> and <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3Pcs-Christmas-Tree-Background-Metal-Die-Cutting-Dies-For-DIY-Scrapbooking-Photo-Album-Decorative-Embossing-Folder/32792200969.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.BMcKwI" target="_blank">trees</a> (all unbranded from Aliexpress)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
out of the same white card and added some glamour dust.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The sentiment is <a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank">Sue Wilson Merry Little Christmas</a> and I cut it firstly with red (for the shadow) then in gold mirri. I finished with the<a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3-4-19mm-20mm-Red-broadside-golden-edge-organza-ribbons-wholesale-gift-wrapping-decoration-ribbon-10/32350294282.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.yrlHzk" target="_blank"> red ribbon</a> and some little <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/120Pcs-set-10mm-Metal-Golden-Small-Bell-Trumpet-Bells-For-Christmas-Tree-Decor-Handmade-Jewelry-Pendants/32774096498.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.RZ2z2s" target="_blank">golden bells</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the inside I've used an EK Success corner punch and the same circle dies as above and used a wooden Penny Black stamp for the sentiment.</div>

<br />
My Niece Fabia, who this card is for, has recently passed her piano exams, so I wanted to combine something musical while still keeping it 'girly'.<br />

I started with a 8" x 8" scalloped card blank and I've used tumbled glass and spun sugar distress inks to create my layers, which I have matted onto pink metallic card. I found the fairy amongst my stash but can't remember where I got the stamp set (if anyone knows please let me know), I stamped her with memento ink in tuxedo black and coloured her with <a href="http://www.cowlingndwilcox.com/" target="_blank">pro-markers</a>. I then sprayed the entire sheet with pearl lustre spray & sparkle from <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/" target="_blank">Crafters Companion</a> and when dry I added some droplets using <a href="http://www.docrafts.com/" target="_blank">Dovecraft</a> 3D pearl effects in clear.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I used the<a href="http://www.maximumcrafts.com/" target="_blank"> Sue Wilson</a> Australian Collection background die to cut the fairy before matting onto the pink card.</div>
